Choosing your metal business cards thickness is as important as your choice the color and surface effect of the metal card,different thickness of the metal cards, its use is not same,our many customers choose 0.3mm or 0.5mm as the thickness of metal business card,We could also create thicker cards if you need,thicker cards are naturally heavier.we offer a wide range of card thicknesses from 0.3mm to credit card thickness 0.8mm as shown below:
- 0.3mm, 300 micron (0.012”)
- 0.5mm, 500 micron (0.0197”)
- 0.8mm, 800 micron (0.0315”)
- 1.0mm,1000 micron (0.0394”)
- 1.2mm, 1200 micron (0.0472”)`
We recommend using 0.3mm and 0.5mm thickness as metal business cards,they're light,however it's not easy to bend,If you are choosing the thickness of the card and want to be cheaper and lighter, you can choose 0.3mm. If you need to be a little thicker, 0.5mm is your best choice.
We generally take the thickness of 0.8mm as the standard thickness of chip card and NFC card,Credit cards are exactly this thickness.
The thickness of 1.0 mm and 1.2 mm are generally used as some tools, such as bottle opener, name plate, etc. they will not be used on metal business cards because they are too heavy
